What kind of pupil goes to the SIS ?
In general the pupils are bilingual, English-French or German-French. However the SIS is also open to young French speakers, who wish to start German.
- A pupil who speaks and writes both languages fluently, due to a bicultural family life or an expatriation.
- A pupil who does not speak French yet, only English or German, and wishes to join the infant, primary or first two years of senior school. For higher levels the pupil must have a minimum of French.
- A totally French speaking pupil, who wishes to learn German, in an international context, from the first year of senior school onwards. The pupil will learn English as well in the normal curriculum of the Education Nationale.
