The Wandering Quill "Evening of Songs, Poetry and Fiction" at the American Library in Paris was a wonderful evening and in current educational jargon, a stellar example of "evidence-based practice" : pure proof of what a rich environment SIS provides.

Multi-lingual : French, German, English and American with all the rich nuances that multi-culturalism produces, this evening was a magical mix of Masters(teachers) ; students, parents and siblings.
MC’d alternately by Tarek Austin, editor, Pat Janin, parent patron and Ms Antoine, coordinator of the Wandering Quill, all three spoke to the process of finding one’s own poetic voice, the courage it takes to "read" in public, and it was Tarek who spoke about the joy of writing for oneself and yet the prime importance of the "elders", in the scholarly sense of masters, mentors and muses.

So with these thoughts said, I thank the students, the masters, the mentors, the muses and the audience for making this evening happen.
