Riding the wave down under!

There are a lot of differences between the French and the Australian way of life.

First of all, school. Teachers are closer to the students and have a much greater sense of humour than French teachers. The time spent at school is much shorter with subjects like dance, cooking, or wood tech that are much more fun. School lasts from about 9 am until 3:30pm.

What’s more, they hardly have any homework even in the classes like year 11 which is première in France. One of the most memorable activities I did in Australia was surfing! Even if it was winter, the wetsuit protects you from the cold and the wind, making the water feel pretty warm. Surfing is actually simple and fun, you just stand on a board and ride the wave!
