The final curtain has come down after four evenings of marvellous performances. The actors, musicians and stage crew were exceptional, not to mention the volonteers who oversaw security and manned the bar, in particular Carol Cretaigne, Nathalie Vicarini, Gloria Struyven, Bunmi Rolland, Penny Rosenfeld and Mylène Hammett.
Thanks go to the teachers for what is one of the highlights of the year, most particularly to Paddy Salmon, teacher and director, who adapted the novel into a play, and to Candy Buxton, Ruairi McCann, Vicki Salmon and Pat Short for rehearsals and for ensuring the success of the endeavor. Thanks to the office staff for organizing logistics Katarina, Maria and Sabine.
We also thank the Ville d’Avray theater for accomodating us and for their helpful advice.
To remember some of the great moments, you can find several videos (67 actually!) filmed and posted by Phil Elie on YouTube. www.youtube.com Type "greatx sat" in the Search box (don’t forget the space betwen x and sat) to find them.
See you next year?
