I was born in Dublin but lived mostly in Cork, on the south coast of Ireland. At University College Cork (National University of Ireland) I took a Bachelor of Arts degree, then a Higher Diploma in Education.
I taught for 8 years in a secondary school near Dublin and decided to take a sabbatical to come and spend one year in France ! Twenty years later I’m still here, happy to be teaching in both the College at Chaville and Sevres and taking my holidays in Ireland whenever I can.
De nationalité irlandaise, j’ai fait mes études en Irlande avant de venir en France il y a maintenant plus de vingt ans. Professeur de langue et littérature, j’enseigne au Collège de Chaville et de Sèvres.
Je suis également responsable de la coordination du programme d’enseignement international sur le site de Chaville.
J’ai trois grands enfants qui furent tous scolarisés aux sections internationales.
