Created in 1960, the SIS today has an enrollment of over one thousand three hundred students of which 67% are in the English Section and 33% in the German Section.
- 575 pupils in kindergarten and primary classes, over 150 in integrated primary classes.
- 760 students in the secondary level (colleges and Lycée), which represents up to 25% of the total student body in these schools.
- A community of 900 families who meet regularly.
- 55 teachers from different countries, holding degrees earned in their country of origin.
- Classes held in seven different schools (all located in the municipalities of Sèvres, Chaville and Boulogne).
- Students from the Paris region (92, 78 and Paris).
- 100% pass rate for the Baccalaureate exam of which 60% receive the honors : “bien” and “très bien” (Based on 2011 results).
- After the Baccalaureate exam, more than 1/3 of students are accepted into preparatory programs for French "Grandes Ecoles" and 30% pursue their studies abroad.
- 40% of students are dual nationals (one of their parents has a nationality other than French), 45% are French and 15% are foreign nationals. 34 nationalities are represented.
- French, German, British and American are the most represented nationalities but pupils also carry Algerian, Argentinian, Australian, Austrian, Belgian, Bresilian, Bulgarian, Canadian, Danish, Egyptian, Spanish, Dutch, Indian, Iranian, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Luxembourg, Malian, Maroccan, Mexican, New-Zealand, Portuguese, Romanian, Somalian, South-African, Swedish, Swiss, Tunisian and Turkish nationalities !
