Interactive Whiteboard Training for Primary Teachers

Following in the steps of the collège, the primary section now proudly boasts its interactive whiteboard.
Primary teachers attended a training session on 6th October, led by Lauren Price from the London ’Centre for Literacy in Primary Education’. Lauren helped them to familiarise themselves with the operational procedure, and investigate creative ways of exploiting their new tool.
The board provides an exciting background on which images and texts can be moved around, made to disappear on cue or be tantalisingly revealed. Children’s own work can be created, edited and ‘saved’ in front of the whole class.
Already in operation this Wednesday, the whiteboard promises to add a new dimension to presentation in the classroom.
