Harvard Model Congress Europe : SIS students won awards

A delegation of 20 students from the lycée participated with diligence and enthusiasm in the 19th session of the Harvard Model Congress Europe.
The Congress was held at a conference centre at the Porte de Bagnolet during the first week-end of April, with 600 students from 27 schools from countries as far afield as Canada, India, Qatar and Turkey attending.
Awards attributed to Rémi Varloot and Pauline sophie Courau
The standard of debating and the information workshops led by Harvard students were most impressive. Awards for outstanding contributions were attributed to Rémi Varloot (House of Representatives) Pauline sophie Courau (World trade Organisation).
The potential and interest demonstrated by the students have convinced us that the setting up of a more formal debating society would be extremely worthwhile. We’re working on it and would welcome suggestions from those interested !
