On the afternoon of Monday 23rd May, the 3 Ce2 classes at Gambetta A, who had been working hard on food vocabulary, experienced a very British moment !
Thanks to a group of SIS mothers, they gathered around tea and delicious home-made English food, from scones to shortbreads, including delicious cup cakes and children’s favourite, ricecrispy cookies !

The atmosphere was really warm and nice.
The non-English speaking CE2 children put a great effort in using the few sentences which they had learned in class, and for them, it was like a quick class trip to Britain. What a wonderful introduction to Anglophone culture !
