Choir 2011

Students taking part in this year’s choir performance represented all ages within the collège, from 6ème to 3ème. Under the guidance of Candi Buxton, and with added moves by Carol Cretaigne, they had rehearsed every week since the beginning of the year, and tackled a challenging repertoire of Queen hits. Chosen songs included ’Killer Queen’, ’We Are the Champions’ and a spirited rendition of ’Fat Bottomed Girls’. The Bee Gees rounded off the performance, and during this last number of the evening (mercifully dry after a rather rainy day) parents rose to the occasion upon an invitation to join in with the ’Saturday Night Fever’ choreography. Congratulations to all those involved for making ’the rocking world go round’!
