Betty Lau

Betty Lau holds a B.A.Honours in Comparative Literature, a Master’s degree in Art History and a B.Ed. from the University of Toronto, Canada. Her academic interests have also taken her to studies at the Università di Siena, L’Ecole du Louvre and the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem.

Before arriving in the SIS in 2000, she taught in Education Programs of the Art Gallery of Ontario and The Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto and at the American Section of the Lycée International de St.Germain-en-Laye. She was for many years on the ELSA FRANCE planning committee for the annual TDD (teaching development day) in Paris.

In past years,Betty has organised voyages for lycée students to London, Dublin and Sligo in Ireland, and in 2010 will be taking the Premières to Berlin. Since 2007, she has also overseen the SIS Culture Club.
