6ème class ’intégration’ trip to Neauphle-le-Vieux (September 2005)

Every year the sixièmes at Chaville spend half a week at Neauphle-le-Vieux in September getting to know each other, their teachers and the election process to become class representative.

Here’s what this year’s 6e inters thought about it all:

  • "Neauphle-le-Vieux has a manor house where we stayed to sleep. During the day we would have activities in a class and in a beautiful park." Camille Ayed
  • "The grounds are composed of a tennis court and a little football pitch. In the forest there are squirrels, pigeons and foxes." Jonathon Ranchin
  • "Neauphle was a riding school. There were lots of beautiful horses and ponies. The country house was really large and cosy. There was a place where we took off our shoes and slipped our slippers on." Lucie Bandelac
  • "The manor had 3 floors. The 1st floor had 2 dining rooms, 1 kitchen and lots of rooms. The 2nd floor was for the girls and the 3rd floor was the boys’ rooms." Virgile
  • "One of our teachers told us how we recycle bags and bottles. With our science teacher we learned how to recognise trees." Bruno Gachoux
  • "My favourite activities were: ultimate [Frisbee], the math quiz and the fake class assembly. One day, some boys came down and we had a big pillow fight." Cecile Coulon
  • "A moment that I really enjoyed was the musical evening. A middle-aged woman came with instruments (African instruments and an accordion)..." Marie P.
  • "...she told stories with music. I thought it was great." Camille H
