School Fees

Reduced fees may apply

En français Auf Deutsch

The SIS, which is a non-profit making organisation, is governed by a Board of Directors made up of volunteer parents who have been elected at the Annual General Meeting by the pupils’ parents.

Ninety percent of school fees go to pay SIS teacher salaries.

The remainder covers costs such as: administrative personnel, communication, OIB-related expenses for the lycée, etc.

Annual school fees are set at the Annual General Meeting which usually takes place in October.

Standard annual rate:

The standard or corporate fee rate is applied when payment of a family’s school fees is totally or partially [1] reimbursed by an institution (Embassy, Unesco..) or a company.

Individual Fees: When a family receives no employee benefits to cover school fees and must pay the cost themselves, our individual fee rate is applied. An additional reduction is applied when several children from the same family are enrolled in the program (this only applies to pupils in the integrated primary or in secondary school). A signed statement confirming status is requested as well as a commitment to informing us of any modification occuring during the school year.

(1) The book fee covers the cost of most of the books and manuals used specifically in international section classes.

(2) Takes into account a deduction of 25 euros paid by the regional council of the Ile-de-France for school books .

The fees do not include school lunches (about 400-500€/year), the cost of taking Cambridge exams and school trips.

Since we do not want school fees to be an obstacle for bilingual families with financial difficulties, these families can request a reduction in school fees for secondary school students.

A letter should be sent, together with a copy of your most recent tax form and any other pertinent supporting documents, to the President of the Association at the following address: SIS, 7 rue Lecocq, 92310 Sèvres. All requests will be treated confidentially. Financial assistance of up to 50% of school fees may be granted. A solidarity fund maintained through donations allows for the provision of aide to up to a dozen families per year.

[1] In the event of partial aid, a prorata is calculated between the individual fees and the standard fees.
