Both options are open to children who already speak English or German, either at home with one or both parents or following a long-term stay in an English or German-speaking country.

As is the case throughout the SIS, primary pupils also benefit from the expertise of trained teachers whose native language is either English or German. Our teachers hail from many different Anglophone or Germanophone countries: United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Australia, Germany, Austria...
In both programs, reading, spelling and writing are taught using tried and trusted methods that are both fun and creative. Classwork is reinforced through regular homework assignments. Biculturalism is an important aspect of our curriculum. Activities pertaining to the major holidays in different English- and German-speaking countries help build students’ dual cultural identity.
