What programme is best for my child ?

Primary Integrated or the Wednesday morning programme ?, >>
  • Depending on which class you’re applying for, testing will take place on one of several dates in June. A test for pupils returning from abroad who are unable to come to Sèvres in June is scheduled for early September.
  • Only children who already speak English or German will be accepted. Every year we receive many applications and the limited number of places means that they cannot all be met. The tests are aimed at evaluating the child’s level in German or English and his/her motivation.

Schedule of entrance tests for Wednesday morning classes

Regular session

CE1 (2nd grade/year 3) through CM2 (5th grade/year 6) May 30 May 9
GM (Kindergarten/last year infant) and CP (first year primary) June 6 May 16
GM and CP June 20 May 30

Extra session

  • GM (Kindergarten/last year infant) through CM2 (5th grade/year 6) : September
  • For English or German section, experience has shown that all available spaces may be filled at some levels during the regular exam sessions. It is strongly recommended that candidates sign up for the May and June session. For the September session we recommend that candidates contact the SIS office by e-mail to verify what openings remain.

Families with children testing for different levels on different dates do not hesitate to contact us so that we can agree on ONE date for the testing.

Once you have registered you are eligible to use our system for setting up carpools with other SIS families.>>

During the year, inscriptions can be accepted for levels with openings. Contact the SIS office as quickly as possible for further details.
